Glad to share that our article, "Toward Sustainable Internet of Underwater Things: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-Aided Energy-Efficient Wake-Up Solutions," has been featured as the cover story in the July 2025 issue of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Magazine! This work addresses the pressing challenges of RF-based communication in aquatic environments, proposing a novel UAV-assisted wake-up mechanism to activate underwater IoT nodes on demand; a step toward sustainable and energy-efficient Internet of Underwater Things (IoUT) deployment.
