Congratulations to Xiuxiu Ma on successfully defending her PhD thesis on “Asymptotic Analysis of Precoding in Large-scale Multi-user Systems”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Tareq Al-Naffouri! Her research develops and applies novel Gaussian Min-Max Theorems to provide a precise asymptotic performance analysis of complex precoders in massive MIMO systems, successfully characterizing system behavior in previously intractable scenarios involving non-linear post-processing operations.
Upon completing her PhD, Xiuxiu will join Politecnico di Milano as a postdoctoral research fellow.
