Congratulations to Pinjun Zheng on successfully defending his PhD thesis on “Mobile Radio Localization with RIS and Satellite Integration”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Tareq Al-Naffouri! His research addresses cutting-edge advancements in radio localization for 5G/6G systems, exploring reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) and satellite integration to enhance user tracking and positioning accuracy. 
Upon completing his PhD, Pinjun will join The University of British Columbia (UBC Okanagan) as a postdoctoral research fellow.
